The Stone Roses were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1983. One of the pioneering groups of the Madchester movement in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band’s classic & most prominent lineup consisted of vocalist Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Mani, and drummer Reni. The Stone Roses released a brilliant self-titled LP in 1989. It spawned numerous hit singles. After the band split, they have since reunited over the years for numerous reunion shows in the UK and worldwide.
