Metallica is one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time. They formed in Los Angeles in 1981. First, they released Kill ‘Em All in 1983. It was fast, raw, and full of energy. Then, Ride the Lightning (1984) and Master of Puppets(1986) took things further.

As a result, Metallica became metal legends. Next, they released …And Justice for All in 1988. It was complex, powerful, and politically charged. Soon after, the Damaged Justice Tour brought their music to the world.

In 1991, they dropped Metallica, also known as The Black Album. It featured hits like “Enter Sandman” and “Nothing Else Matters.” Because of its success, they headlined the massive Wherever We May Roam Tour.

They experimented with sound. Load (1996) and Reload (1997) showed a different side. Meanwhile, they played huge shows on the Poor Touring Me and Reload Tour.

In the early 2000s, St. Anger (2003) brought raw aggression. Although it divided fans, it marked a bold moment in their history. Then, in 2008, Death Magnetic brought back classic thrash vibes. That year, the World Magnetic Tour began, spanning multiple continents.

Later, Hardwired… to Self-Destruct came out in 2016. It was loud, fast, and full of fury. To promote it, they launched the WorldWired Tour, which lasted several years.

Most recently, Metallica returned in 2023 with 72 Seasons. It’s heavy, emotional, and deeply personal. Following the release, they launched the massive M72 World Tour. Fans around the globe packed stadiums for two-night shows and rotating setlists.
