System of a Down is an Armenian-American metal band that, since its formation in 1994, has continuously evolved and captivated fans worldwide.

First, they released their self-titled debut album in 1998, which introduced their unique sound. Then, in 2001, their breakthrough album Toxicity exploded onto the scene with chart-topping hits like “Chop Suey!” and “Aerials.”

Subsequently, they followed up with Steal This Album! in 2002, further solidifying their reputation. In 2005, remarkably, they released two albums, Mezmerize and Hypnotize, both of which debuted at number one globally. Moreover, they toured extensively, headlining Ozzfest and many other major tours.

Although they went on hiatus in 2006, they reunited in 2010, much to fans’ delight.

Furthermore, in 2020, they released new powerful singles, “Protect the Land” and “Genocidal Humanoidz.” Most recently, they reunited for their high-energy “Wake Up” 2025 tour, performing alongside Korn and Deftones across North and South America.

Looking forward, the band announced a 2026 European stadium tour, marking their long-awaited return after nine years with Queens of The Stone Age and Acid Bath.
